Transformational Moments of Life

There are moments in each of our lives that are so dynamic they have the potential the change your life forever. These are transformational moments in that they require you to go beyond your preconceived notions and limitations. They are so powerful when they happen you can often look back and realize it was a pivotal moment in your life and destiny.

I also call them holy moments. Moments in time when it seems like the very holiness of God himself reaches down and touches your life forever. Can you remember a holy moment in your life?

These are moments that are so amazing your entire concept of life itself changes. It is in that moment you are no longer just one person on a planet with six billion people, but rather you sense that you are at the very center and God’s purposes and destiny.

Unfortunately, once we have these moments it becomes very easy to allow yourself to regress back into the same humdrum of the past, or worst yet, simply play them off as non events.

You have a dynamic destiny on this earth. Your life is not one of accident or failure. Once you change the way you see yourself and the way you see God you subtly begin to realize there is a comprehensive plan and role that you are fulfilling. Unfortunately, most people live there lives in a sense of hopeless desperation, never being aware of how important their lives truly are on this planet.

When we don’t recognize the hand of God in our lives we become hopeless, faithless discouraged individuals. We allow circumstances to rule us and then our fears and emotions dictate our lives.

YOU DON’T DROWN BY FALLING IN THE WATER – YOU DROWN BY STAYING THERE!

Transition

We are living in a time of great movement and transition and transformation.  These are two words we use very commonly in our everyday speech.  However, there meanings are very important.

Transition – movement, passage, or change from one position, state, stage, subject, concept, etc.

It is the movement from one place or concept to another.

Transformation – to move beyond form.

It is the understanding that in the Spiritual we are moving beyond the limitations of our form or body.

The transitional reality involves your willingness to move beyond your current concepts and position and allow transformation or the movement beyond the limitations of your form or body to occur.

This requires changing the way you see yourself and life itself.  As I have taught you in the past you will only see what you can believe.  Beliefs in limitations as to form or to your current realities of physical life create a world that is very limited.

Your perception of your life will determine what you do in life and your perspective in life will determine what you see which will in turn determine your perception of life.

To live a life without limitations requires you to see a life without limitations.  The problems we currently experience are usually limitations of the physical and mental states of thinking.

The ability to see your life differently you must first be willing to change what you currently believe.  You must be willing to look into a realm or a dimension you may or may not even realize exists.  You must be willing to go where few men have gone before.

TRANSFORMATION

TRANSFORMATION – The Key to Living in Zoe

By Dr. Rick Patterson

It was asked of a man who was dying, “What does it feel like to live each day knowing you are dying?”  The dying man replied, “What does it feel like to live each day pretending you are not?”

What does it feel like to pretend you are living when indeed you know there has to be more to life than this?

TRANS – BEYOND

FORM – Body

trans•form – go beyond the body!

I am more than my body!  I am more than the limitations of my body!  I am more than the limitations of my current belief system!

1. to change in form, appearance, or structure; metamorphose.
2. to change in condition, nature, or character; convert.
3. to change into another substance; transmute.
to undergo a change in form, appearance, or character; become transformed.

KJV Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

NIV Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is– his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Change the way you see!

1 Cor. 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

How long will you continue to look at life through your parent’s or your grandparent’s glasses?

We use our parents negative patterns and attitudes to view what our life looks like.

If we could open our eyes to see new ways of relating, seeing, and doing.

Question:

Where in your life are you using your mother’s glasses?

When will you look with the eyes of success and opportunity?

What opportunities are you unable to see because you see only what you want to see?

Proverbs 4:25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

Proverbs 4:26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Proverbs 4:27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

What are the distractions in your life that keep you from the destiny and reality you want to create?

How many distractions can you eliminate?

How soon can you eliminate them?

How many distractions do you actually invite in your life on a daily basis?

Imagine for the next five minutes what it might feel like to be free from the bondages and hinderances of distractions?

What do you need to cut away in your life?

Are you willing to do that?

Why or why not?

NIV Luke 19:1 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.

2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy.

3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because of the crowd.

4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.

5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.”

Note:  He could not see Jesus because of the crowd!  He could not see his destiny because of the crowd.

What crowd are you hanging around that keeps you from seeing success and potential?

Are your friends encouraging and supporting your desire to be successful in a greater way?

Are your friends hindering you from seeing your opportunities, your greatness, your potential?

If so consider changing your friends!
